E’ stato firmato a Cracovia il protocollo tra il Ministero dell’Istruzione e le comunità Ebraiche italiane. Il ministro Stefania Giannini ha autorizzato l’insegnamento della Shoah come materia di studio, corso intitolato “La dignità umana”. L’Olocausto entra così a pieno titolo nei programmi delle scuole e delle università italiane. La formazione per gli insegnanti darà modo agli studenti di capire l’enormità di quello che è accaduto e di non dimenticarlo mai più. Shoah è un termine ebraico che significa catastrofe, distruzione totale. Più precisamente con questa parola viene indicata la distruzione sistematica, anzi, pianificata della popolazione ebraica avvenuta tra la fine degli anni trenta ed il 1945. Per Olocausto si intende la persecuzione e lo stermino sistematici di circa sei milioni di Ebrei, attuati con burocratica organizzazione dal regime Nazista e dai suoi collaboratori. Uno sterminio che oggi torna ad essere ricordato, perchè stiamo vivendo una guerra con modalità differenti, ma sempre una guerra. E’ stata istituita “La giornata della memoria” perchè nessun popolo debba mai più scordare e sopportare tragedie così atroci e ingiustificate. Perciò sono grata a tutti coloro che contribuiscono al ricordo, in questo caso la “Scuola Italiana” sostiene un progetto nobile e importante . A proposito di questa tematica, avrei un magnifico film da consigliarvi: “Il labirinto del silenzio”è un film dossier, del regista Giulio Ricciarelli, Italiano naturalizzato Tedesco. La vicenda si svolge a Francoforte nel 1958, i giovani tedeschi ntraprendono le loro onorevoli carriere, in un clima di ricostruzione, nascono nuove professioni, aprono nuove attività, all’ombra di ciò che è stato e accuratamente nascosto. Molti ragazzi non sono a conoscenza degli accadimenti di guerra ,ma i loro padri, quelli che hanno conosciuto l’inferno imposto da Hitler, e lo hanno sostenuto, vogliono dimenticare, negare, seppellire. I ricordi disturbano le loro coscienze. Un giovane procuratore legale Johann Radmann, all’oscuro delle barbarie perpetrate contro gli Ebrei, viene a conoscere casualmente un giornalista anarchico, Thomas Gnielka, che lo porterà sulle tracce di un passato doloroso, di cui anche lui inconsapevolmente scoprirà di far parte. Suo padre, quello che credeva un eroe, il suo maestro di vita, è stato un Nazista. Inizia cosi’ il suo coinvolgimento nella vicenda. Frequenta l’archivio di stato, che scenograficamente rappresenta “Il Labirinto”. Il locale contiene tonnellate di faldoni, accatastati in scansie altissime, ricchi di materiali, di documenti che lo sovrastano, come un luogo opprimente privo di aria, e nel quale è difficile trovare una via di uscita. Si appropria della sua tenacia, raccoglie foto (la potenza delle immagini è sconcertante), crea un suo dossier, inizia ad investigare, a formulare liste, con nomi indirizzi e numeri telefonici. Josef Mengele, il “Dottor Morte”, l’assassino delle bimbe gemelle dell’amico giornalista, diventa la preda del suo inseguimento. Riuscirà ad istituire un processo di dimensioni gigantesche,facendo condannare molti esecutori materiali dei crimini ,quelli che all’inizio della vicenda credeva colpevoli di pochi reati, mentre l’ indagine gli fa scoprire un dramma dalle proporzioni bibliche. I “Boia” si erano adoperati per stermini di massa e nessuno di loro durante i processi successivi, ha mai chiesto scusa o dato segni di pentimento. L’enormità della menzogna viene presto a galla e stravolge la vita del giovane biondo procuratore, cambiando la sua vita e i suoi ideali di giovane avvocato. Questa pellicola è la nuova testimonianza di un periodo storico che la Germania con la figura di Adenauer ha voluto rimuovere dalle menti degli stessi protagonisti, dell’onta di morte. E’ un film che mescola personaggi realmente esistiti ad altri di finzione, ma che non fa sconti alla rappresentazione reale dei crimini perpetrati dai nazisti. Il film trova le parole giuste, quelle della legge e della giustizia, rompere il silenzio e l’omertà, conservare e trasmettere la memoria, è il minimo che si possa fare, sempre, comunque e dovunque. E’ un ottimo film, non perdetelo.
