«Naturalmente è una metafora… – racconta Mimmo Locasciulli in merito al brano – il playback è il gioco della vita, e il campo è la modalità con la quale il gioco viene condotto. E in questo gioco ci sono “…i più grandi (che) si prendono il campo tutto per sé…”, c’è il “fascino di qualche ripetente che ci scombussola le idee…” e “…il futuro che non arriva mai”. Quando io e Ruggeri scrivemmo questa canzone avemmo la netta percezione di aver scritto una grande canzone, profonda e godibile nello stesso tempo. Sono passati 30 anni e la canzone non ha perso neanche un milligrammo del suo impatto. È bello averla riproposta con Liga, che trent’anni fa ne cantava l’incipit, insieme a Maio…».
“PICCOLI CAMBIAMENTI” (Believe Digital) è un doppio album con cui Mimmo Locasciulli celebra i quarant’anni di carriera, rispolverando vecchi brani rivisitati appositamente per l’occasione, arricchiti da un inedito, che dà anche il titolo al disco.
